Broken Sword

Paris in the Fall… a brutal murder at the Palais Royale. When Nico Collard is invited to interview statesman Pierre Carchon, she finds herself inextricably drawn into a terrifying conspiracy.  Meanwhile, George Stobbard sits outside a corner cafe, enjoying the last days of vacation before entering the grind at a law firm in the States, when a bomb explodes inside, and he becomes inextricably pulled into the intrigue surrounding the explosion…

The first season of thirteen episodes details the first partnership between an aloof law school graduate and an ambitious young news reporter, beginning in Paris, and jaunting to points across the globe.  While dramatizing their potential romantic relationship, as well as other colorful characters they meet along the way, the story structures itself around an unsolved murder and clues leading to the highly secretive Templar cult, and ultimately the mythical Broken Sword itself…
